This Privacy Policy explains how BattleCubed collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our game, website, multiplayer services, support tools, and related features.

We use the data we need to operate the Service, keep matches fair, protect players, support accounts and purchases, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not use player data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Information We Collect

  • Account and profile information, such as your player ID, username, login provider identifiers, and any contact details you choose to provide to support.
  • Age-related information, such as date of birth or age band, where needed to apply legal safeguards and age-appropriate features.
  • Gameplay and social data, such as match history, ratings, room participation, friends lists, chat logs, reports, moderation history, and gameplay events needed to run the Service.
  • Device, network, and technical data, such as IP address, device identifiers, platform, app version, language, crash data, and security or fraud signals.
  • Transaction and entitlement data from platform providers, such as purchase receipts, subscription status, and item fulfillment records. We do not receive full payment card numbers from app stores.
  • Website and support data, such as support requests, report submissions, browser request logs, and any attachments or details you include when contacting us.

How We Use Information

  • provide, maintain, and improve gameplay, matchmaking, rankings, friends features, chat, and customer support
  • authenticate accounts, secure sessions, prevent fraud, detect abuse, and enforce our Terms
  • process purchases, restore entitlements, respond to refund or delivery issues, and maintain financial records
  • moderate communications, investigate reports, and protect the safety of players and the integrity of competitions
  • comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our rights, users, and systems

Depending on where you live, we process personal information because it is necessary to provide the Service you request, because we have legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, because you consented, or because the law requires or permits the processing.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information for money. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • with infrastructure, hosting, authentication, moderation, analytics, email, and support vendors that process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards
  • with platform operators such as Apple or Google when needed to validate purchases, deliver entitlements, or comply with store requirements
  • with law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when required by law or when necessary to protect rights, safety, and the Service
  • with a buyer, investor, successor, or affiliate if we are involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets

Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain player progress, comply with legal or financial obligations, resolve disputes, and detect or prevent abuse or fraud.

Retention periods vary based on the type of data, the sensitivity of the information, whether an account remains active, and whether we need the data for safety, compliance, or enforcement purposes. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where practical.

Your Choices and Rights

  • You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by using in-app account controls where available or by contacting support.
  • You can stop using the Service at any time and can request account deletion through the app or our support team.
  • You can control some device permissions, notifications, and platform settings through your device or app store account.
  • Where applicable law grants additional privacy rights, we will honor verified requests as required by law.

Children's Privacy

We design BattleCubed to apply extra protections for younger players. Where required by law, we use age information to enable child-appropriate settings and to limit certain features, including restrictions on free-form communication for younger accounts.

Parents or guardians may request review, correction, or deletion of a child's personal information by contacting us. We do not knowingly collect more personal information from children than is reasonably necessary to provide the Service and maintain safety and compliance.

International Transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Those countries may have different data protection laws. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above. If changes are material, we may also provide additional notice in the Service where appropriate.
