Game Overview
The fundamentals of BattleCubed — what to do, how to score, and how the game flow works.
Objective
BattleCubed is a competitive cube-stacking battler. Drop falling pieces onto your board, clear horizontal lines, and send garbage rows to your opponents.
The last player standing wins the match. Higher rated wins push you up the ladder and unlock chests with cosmetics.
Controls
Move pieces left and right, soft drop to speed up, or hard drop to slam the piece down. Rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise to fit gaps.
Hold a piece in reserve to swap it later. Use quick-chat to communicate without typing in the middle of a match.
Scoring & Garbage
Clear one to four lines at once. Multi-line clears send more garbage to your opponents — Tetris (4 lines) sends the most.
Chain consecutive clears for a B2B bonus. Targeting rotates between opponents; check the indicator above each opponent board to see who you are attacking.
Game Modes
Quick Match: jump into a casual lobby against bots or other players.
Ranked: climb tiers from Bronze to Diamond with a rolling rating system.
Private Room: invite friends with a room code for custom matches.
Progression & Chests
Every match awards XP and currency. Chests drop based on performance and unlock over time — open them for cosmetic skins, board frames, and chat stickers.
Purchases are cosmetic only. Gameplay is never pay-to-win.
